Hello my lovely One Called Mama community! I have been quite the busy little bee over here and am so excited to tell you that One Called Mama is now Samantha + Co.! 
At the beginning of this summer, the LORD showed me He is expanding my tent pegs. It became very clear that I needed to create an organization to encompass everything He wants me to do. Thus, Samantha + Co. was born. My show is no longer only for the moms. Supporting every woman at every stage of life is now my mission.
But why change the podcast name? Is the format changing too? In this short “episode”, I answer those very questions and why I felt this major change was needed.

Today I share with you the story behind my upcoming baptism and how all the details fell into place. This is more than just a rededication and act of obedience for me. This is a day that marks the beginning of the greater purpose and mission the LORD has set me on.
Things have shifted in my soul. My movements and choice are much more intentional and driven by an even deeper purpose that I am still discovering. I don’t entirely know what to expect on that day; what I do know is that things will never be the same. And I’m here for it.

Today we wrap this season and it really comes full circle in a truly beautiful way that only the LORD could make happen. I prayed He would show me what we should discuss and He brought to mind a message He sent me nearly two years ago: “You are a Mother of Many”.
As we dive into the meaning of this message, we will discuss discipleship, purpose and how motherhood is so much more than bearing a child. 
There is a plan. There is a purpose far greater than ANYTHING we could have imagined. Are you willing to surrender your desires to fulfill His?

Last week I shared how the LORD began to break down my walls of pride and misplaced identity. This week, I share how that was integral in what was about to happen to me at the 4:14 Conference hosted by the Esther Rising Movement.
This two day conference was more like a revival and I was NOT disappointed. Deliverance, healing and baptism. I was changed by all three, as were so many others who attended.

I attended the Behind Her Brand two-day conference last week, and let me tell you: it did not turn out how I expected. The LORD completely blindsided me at what I thought was the worst possible time.
What started out as intense shame and deeply misplaced identity, turned into the beginning of a revival in my heart. The barriers had to come down and they had to come down strategically.
Even though it was painful, I can see now what He was doing AND why.

As we close out this season, I share a stronghold in my life that I am breaking free from. A self-imposed prison that I refuse to stay trapped in any longer. My fear of being rejected and misunderstood will no longer have any power over me and how I show up in the world.
 
What are you afraid to bring to light? Are you holding back who God created you to be because of what others might think of you?
